Charlotte Bay Resort and Club

Great location with comfortable beds but everything was outdated. It was clean except there were coffee cups and glasses that were not clean so we washed everything that we used. It is pet friendly which was a big plus for us. I would go back only because it was very convenient to everything we were doing and it was nice and quiet. Nice size pool and hot too - pool area could also use some TLC.

First I would like to say Miss Andrea is a superstar. I was there shortly after the hurricane during relief work and had been out in the field working 28 days 16 to 18 hours a day. Decided to get a room to take a break and regroup and rest And happened upon this place and was very thankful for it. At a time when there were no rooms available with an hour radius of driving and the ones that were available were checked up in price it was nice to find a person that actually cared. I felt like I was family not just a number. They were not fully open yet but she went and got a room ready for me and took very good care of me so I can get some rest. The condo itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has a fully stocked kitchen two beautiful bedrooms beautiful view is very comfortable. There’s a beautiful park right across the street And you’re not far from all kinds of things to do in the area. I myself was just needing some rest and some peace and quiet and again Miss Andrea went above and beyond to make sure this was accomplished. I was so thankful to have found a place and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the area. Again I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you

Older building but good location. We've been here before. Always take our dog Works out perfectly.

We come here very often . The staff is great and very friendly. The pool area is very relaxing with a huge pool and hot tub. There is also a nice area to bar- b-que.The units are very big with a full-size well stocked kitchen. All of the rooms have a balcony looking over the pool and the place is very pet friendly.

Pool area quiet, clean and plenty of chairs. Room is big and equipped but retro decor. Staff friendly. Beach and Park is fenced off across the street so no access. Plenty of parking.

If you want serenity, completeness with all the amenities and a well maintained and organized facility.....this is it. The Jacuzzi and pool was just what it was supposed to be - clean and and at a good temperature. We weren't expecting peace and quiet but we got that too. Once you get on Tamiami Trail (41) and head toward Venice you will find many familiar stores and restaurants (15 minutes). Our favorite restaurant was a local in Port Charlotte and it is extraordinary "Mayon". 3 minutes away from the resort. We had three visits there and were not ever disappointed in meals or service. Our plan is to return from Orlando to the resort and Mayon in the near future.

I wish I knew this place existed sooner! Not much more than a hotel room during season with 3 times the space and better amenities as well as quiet with a great view! Will definitely be using this again for next visit rather than the local hotels. Very easy check in/out and office people super friendly, easy process.

We loved our stay. When we arrived our condo was very clean. With a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the amenities, the pool and hot tub were great. And it was a short walk to the park across the street where we could put our kayaks in. The staff were great and very accommodating. We will be back for sure.
